HARPER GREEN SCHOOL

Harper Green School provides excellent support for their pupils and to help elevate the school’s already impressive status, Stratus 9 were appointed to submit a Condition Improvement Funding Bid for the provision of a new state of the art teaching facility.

The existing teaching blocks were aged portacabins which were severely dilapidated and not fit for purpose. Despite all the major issues with the 7 temporary blocks the school still managed to provide the pupils with a high standard of education.

A detailed CIF application was put together by Stratus9 which resulted in Harper Green School being awarded over £2m in funding. The project was successfully designed and managed by Stratus9’s surveying professionals from inception until completion. Stratus9 procured, specified, designed and delivered the project for the Client. The school’s new state of the art teaching facility boasts the latest in technology with large open plan classrooms.

The school are thoroughly pleased with their new teaching facility and can now ensure the staff and pupils are within a safe environment compliant with Building Regulations. Maintenance costs have been drastically reduced allowing the school to use surplus monies in other avenues of education.
