SHELLEY FIRST SCHOOL

Stratus9 Consulting were appointed to undertake a fire safety compliance survey on Shelley First School. Upon inspection it was noted the school was lacking in fire compartmentation with majority of the fire doors being non-compliant to modern day standards in fire protection.

The school was built in the late 19th Century making it a sensitive fire safety compliance project. A comprehensive Condition Improvement Funding Application was put together by Stratus9’s building surveying and project management professionals. Stratus9 procured a successful application resulting in Shelley First School being awarded grant funding for the Fire Safety Compliance Upgrades Project.

Stratus9 procured, designed, and delivered the challenging fire safety compliance project on-time and within budget, ensuring the school can achieve full compliance with the Building and Fire Regulations.

The school now benefits from aesthetically pleasing doors which are fully compliant with the fire and Building Regulations.
